Even though the theory of exploiting already covers a rough idea as to how you can do it, let me give some things you could so to disable a construct. Every construct is made differently, so not every method will always work on every construct, so the need to research and study the construct before trying should always be taken into account. So with out further waiting... lets get down to it... When you wish to disable a construct, first you should locate the individual parts of it if that is possible for you at the current time. If not, then just scan it for the rough idea of the programming of the construct. Now that you have a rough understanding of how it works, you will now use the theory of exploitation on it, such as, on this following one... Generator -> Storage -> Reflective Shield You would disable the generator and let the shield burn itself out, of course that is a basic construct, the more complex they are the harder it will get to take out, etc. A more advanced construct... Generator -> storage | -> Repair system -> Reflective Shield ^- Refiner <--------- | For this one instead you would take out the repair system then you would proceed to take out the generator and then let it burn itself off.
